Or more correctly skylark herald's dawn (my comments don't like the apostrophe) this comes courtesy of a piece in the Observer that tweaked my interest about 12 string instumental folk - I've long had my beaten up Eko 12 string tuned in fifths, and always thought that alternatively tuned 12 strings were a rich seam to mine musically. Anyway James Blackshaw makes just such music - multilayered, instumental folk. Most tracks are too long to post here, but the drone like quality means that they never feel like they've been over drawn-out like a bad 80's 12" remix. This is one of his shorter, simpler tracks.
