The subject of some discussion between Beth and I, this rather lovely song makes me stop whatever I'm doing and reflect for a moment on it's rolling harmonies and essentially uplifting vibe. From what I've heard, Laura's latest album sounds a lot less stark than her previous outings - we've moved on in scope from carbon glaciers and meteors and now we're onto rolling oceans. There's even a choir in this one. And handclaps. And you know how much we like handclaps.
This song is less Nina Nastasia and much more Sufjan Stevens. You can't hear her glasses in this one.
