More Unthank loveliness this week in a hot and euphoric Brudenell. It was the first time I've heard them play Sea Song live - real goosebump-inducing stuff. I'm embarrassed to say that I didn't realise it was a Robert Wyatt song, but it completely makes sense. It's all in the yearning and a bit of gentle brass to ram the emotional punch home. It's the effortless, after-hours feel of it that get me every time. Sigh. And without wanting to make this a compare-and-contrast 'A' level type question, (although it is the season for that sort of thing), have a listen to these as a pair.
